Trial of a Bank robber in Santa Barbara.

Last summer Ben Greenspon was convicted of bank robbery. The D.A. wanted to charge him with attempted murder and so opened an old case. I learned of this and filed an Amicus Curie to subpoena a Medicine man who had at least, hearsay information that Greenspon had been influenced with hypnosis to have desires that required lots of money with a diminished abilty to appreciate the consequences of bank heists. The Amicus was served upon the District attorney, the Public defender and filed with the court. I typed up the criminal subpoena form and made the face sheet for the Amicus list the affidavit as a brief. The notarized affidavit with the form and the application were mailed to Greenspon explaining that he would have to insist on the subpoena being filed. No response.
The next day, 02-23-2001 the trial concludes.
On January 26, 2001 a document was filed in a criminal case that could have brought the truth into the court and
the events of the night of February 23, 2001 in Isla Vista on Sabado Tarde.
